Biography

I grew up in Medicine Hat, attended McCoy High School and then went on to the University of Calgary.

I have been with the Catholic School District for 25 years. My teaching career started out at McCoy High School. I taught Phys. Ed. and Social mostly for 9 years and coached basketball for 7 of those years. (Basketball has always been a passion of mine.) I was transferred to St. Mary's and then had my first child. I took off a few years to stay at home with my two children and I loved nuturing them and watching them grow. I helped out in my daughter's Kindergarten class and loved being there so much that my career took on a drastic change. I became a Kindergarten teacher (loved it) and have taught Kindergarten for 10 years now. I am looking forward to continuing my career in Kindergarten.

I have been married to my husband, Grant, for nineteen years. We have been blessed with two wonderful children. Marni attends McCoy High School and Zachary attends Notre Dame Academy. Both children are heavily involved in school and club sports. They both play volleyball and basketball and have in the past played rep soccer. Thus we led a very busy life full of sports!

I am blessed also to work at St.Patrick's School. We have a very supportive admininstration, a great staff and a wonderful Kindergarten team!
