Poetry is just songs without music, or . . . songs are poetry put to music!
There are many different kinds of poetry. We will look at some of the different kinds and read many wonderful poems. Some will be funny and make us laugh, some will be serious and will make us wonder. Some will be silly, many will rhyme, some will not.
